I am thankful for sunny, warm weather.
It has been nice to be getting outside more and the kids are loving the yard. We've been pulling up some weeds and have even planted our root and leafy crops. Ben loves using the tools, and knows that when you put a rake down, you always put the tines towards the ground so that you don't get hurt.
Ben is so eager to help with everything! He is constantly saying, "I wanna help." He loves getting his stool out to reach into the sink, and often asks to cook.

Ben is able to sustain a basic conversation now, says "please" and "thank you", shakes hands, and loves his sister.
Nora stands on her own for several seconds, takes a step or two occasionally(She took four sure steps yesterday! twice!), mimics everything we say, and barks like a dog when you ask her what doggies say. She is a catch, that's for sure.
Greg built this bench to get started working with his new tool, a Kreg-jig, which is pretty awesome. He has a list of projects to build me and not enough capital to work with. :) The bench will go with our outdoor table, which is his next project.

Ben loved helping. He was in heaven playing with the vacuum in the garage, and working on the finish with his dad. It was wonderful watching him grow in this way.
Quote of the week:
"Do we really need this cake?"
Several hours later:
"I'm not bulimic, but I want to be right now."
