This week, I am really grateful for these bad boys. They, combined with this little miracle, have completely changed the breastfeeding experience for me. Go ahead...laugh your heart out.
We have about 20 pictures of Nora in various sleeping positions. Can't. Get. Enough.
Oh, and this is her monkey. His name is Socks. We are really hoping he sticks around.
Guess who got their first bath.
This girl!
She also turned one week old. She's practically a grandmother.
She's already fought off her first virus that had her congested with mustard colored snots. What a trooper!
Oh yeah, and she started wearing cloth diapers. They make her butt look HUGE! It's hilarious.
And this kid...
He's been loving having his Dad around to build forts and such with, but he has been teething something fierce. It's been very fortunate for him that there have been two parents at home lately to deal with his antics, which include, but are not limited to, walking around aimlessly screaming his eye balls out while touching everything that is forbidden and trying to rip his sisters face off.
That being said, he loves his sister and is becoming more and more gentle with her. This morning, to his every expanding vocabulary, which now includes "hot" and "no touching", he added "Nora". My heart literally melted from my chest onto the floor. Several times today I caught him sitting by her saying "Nona" repeatedly, while showing her a toy.
Makes my heart glad.
Greg went back to work today. I am thankful that his job has been so accommodating and that the department where he works is so family oriented and supportive.
Final note, as we have been outside more, I can not say enough about how awesome this stuff is for stains. It even did a better job on Snowflake than soaking in Oxiclean. Go get yourself a bar.
